As some of the other comments have pointed out, this article is somewhat attacking a straw man, the generic claims that blue light is "bad".
The science that our circadian clocks are sensitive to blue light delivered to the retina is quite well substantiated, and not in question. It is also indisputable that light, particularly blue light, delivered in the evening, is a very effective way to delay the circadian clock, and to delay sleep onset. So wearing blue blocking glasses in the evening or only using electronic devices that block the blue end of the spectrum are reasonable approaches to minimizing disruption to our circadian clocks. But these approaches alone aren't going to get you to bed if you are still scrolling through interesting content, or engrossed in a good book or an exciting video.
