I really appreciate you taking the time to reread my article. It is hard to strike a reasonable balance on many topics in our politicized world, but mental health is particularly tricky. I share your concern that some people, out of fear or ignorance or other reasons will be blocked from accessing a treatment like ketamine that has been life saving for many. At the same time, I've heard horror stories of people who have felt harmed by ketamine when it was administered in situations that don't appear warranted by our current knowledge.

It can be challenging to build an audience on Medium. I see "success" stories of people who have thousands of followers and are making hundreds of dollars a month within a few months of joining the platform. In many cases, their content seems to be entirely how to build an audience on Medium.

I took more than two years to reach 100 followers, and four and a half to reach 1000. Last month I made more money than I had in the first fifty months combined! And I think that some of my best articles were written in those earlier years.
