I think that some people learn tools and techniques that help them. Others find career paths that are interesting enough that they can channel their ADHD. Some find partners or others who help structure and direct their ADHD impulses.

Kids and young adults have been the subjects of the largest share of ADHD research; older groups are neglected. But anecdotally, lots of women report worsening around menopause, and we know that estrogen receptors in the brain can affect attention and other executive functions.
