I think that you are failing to give Pelosi her due. She has to corral a much more divisive group of Democrats in the House, than the leadership has to contend with in the far more moderate, collegial, group of Democrats in the Senate. Getting the progressive and the Yellow Dog/ Blue Dog / Doggone Rightwing Democrats in the House to agree on anything shows greater leadership than Schumer has been able to pull of in the Senate.
