I'm certainly open to corrections. But part of Ainsworth's formulation of Attachment Theory (which aligns with much of neuroscience research on development) is that brains progress through "critical periods" when they are best suited for learning a skill or capability, and if they don't learn it within that window of time, it becomes very difficult (and for some skills impossible) to learn at other times.

My article may be more nuanced than you appreciate. I am not fundamentally attacking Attachment Theory, but more challenging some of the absolutist and deterministic versions of the belief that have been appearing in the popular domain
