I'm glad that you've found approaches that have helped you; it sounds like you're using an Acceptance and Commitment framework.

You're the second person to suggest I write more about the ASD stimming connection with grooming behaviors, so I've put that on my list - but it looks like it will be at least a few weeks before I get to it.
