In the first paragraph I clearly describe that we are leaving San Francisco for personal reasons, and the experiences I described just made the departure easier.

Leaving a community does not equate to neglecting a community. I would be guilty of the self entitlement and aggrandizement that you accuse me of were I to think that my departure actually caused harm and destruction to San Francisco
