Journalism is your field of expertise, but your description seems too even handed to me. When I read articles in the "mainstream press" I still see coverage of both side of issues, and acknowledgement of both positive and negative actions by actors across the political spectrum. But if I read from powerful right wing media sources I can search for days and days without a single indication that Democrats can or have done anything good - they won't even admit that inflation has receded, or that inflation in recent years was considerably lower than inflation in the US in the 1970s. I'm not pretending that the left lacks their own biases, but it is a false equivalency to say that both sides are doing the same thing.
