Leslie Jamison's New Yorker article about gaslighting does a good job exploring an angle that I didn't have much space in my short article to address: parenting tactics that seem at least in some respects to capture the essence of gaslighting, and in a more general way, the ways we try to establish conformity as a society, and how that also incorporates some (all?) aspects of gaslighting.
