My summary of a complicated topic: Wellubtrin works well for depression, and well for ADHD for many individuals. It tends not to be helpful for pure anxiety disorders (if someone only has panic, or generalized anxiety) and can often make anxiety worse in that context. But if the anxiety is largely secondary to either ADHD or to depression, then those individuals may well feel less anxious after starting buproprion (Wellbutrin).
