Or another way to look at is how much more alike Putin and Trump appear to be: when frustrated in not getting what they want, they are open to destroying that very thing, and telling obvious and transparent lies about how they are working to preserve what they are destroying. In Trump's case it is the presidency and US democracy, for Putin it is ownership of Ukraine.
