Thanks for commenting. I think that the "genuine happiness" phrase is important. As Robert Lustig (and endocrinologist who writes about sugar) has discussed at length, the marketing world has pushed us to confuse contentment/satisfaction (true happiness) with immediate rewards, and that leaves many people looking for more rewards, and not feeling content or happy.
