Thanks for commenting, most of this makes sense and is consistent with what I wrote about in my book.

I'll take a little exception to hyperactivity not being of diagnostic value. Yes, many adults with ADHD aren't running around in circles, but look at Trump - in almost any setting, he's wandering around, fidgeting, getting up when others are seated, moving when others are standing still for a picture. In the 2016 Republican debates, he was always the one either moving away from his lectern, or gripping it tightly - consciously or not - probably to restrain his tendency towards hyperactivity.
