Thanks for the feedback. I wanted to make sure that I didn't downplay the dangers and destructiveness of actual gaslighting while emphasizing that the term is often overused and misused.

My dad's family is from Michigan. Lots of Kruses with a K seem to have settled in the midwest after leaving Germany.
