Trump meets full criteria for ADHD - he blurts out whatever is at the top of his mind, doesn't do his homework, had trouble organizing his thoughts, and doesn't think about anything that doesn't interest him. This is all documented in my book Recognizing Adult ADHD: What Donald Trump Can Teach Us About Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

His executive function deficits may also be exacerbated by dementia, but this remains speculative. He might just be accentuating his previous tendencies because he has been so well rewarded for them.

ADHD is neither stupid nor crazy, but it can look a lot like either of them.
