While I would agree with many of the points you make, there are other lenses for looking at the bigger picture, which seems to be mired in the myriad of details you cite. In the first year of the epidemic, during Trump's reign, the US accounted for more than one in five deaths from COVID worldwide. In the second year, under Biden's watch, US death's account for about one in ten COVID deaths worldwide. Relative to the rest of the world, Biden is doing twice as well as Trump did, with far more organized resistance from Republicans than Trump faced. And yes, as you make clear, there is still plenty of room for improvement, and the US still accounts for a disproportionate number of deaths worldwide.
